Ana Marco

Ana MarcoI left my parents’ home a few days before I turned 18. I first went to a nearby city, Valencia, where I’ve lived for many years.

I always was curious about living in another country, I deflowered with the Emerald Isle, my beloved Ireland. I had always liked travelling; however, when I was in Ireland I started doing “getaways” in Europe almost every month and, as it is said, once the travel bug bites, there’s no known antidote!

Despite how much I enjoyed Ireland, I missed the sea and the sun, as a good Spanish born and raised on the Mediterranean coast… and as an electronic music lover, I couldn’t think of a better place to go than Ibiza, where I worked for 2 summer seasons.

After my second season I had saved enough money to go backpacking through South America for almost 5 months, two and a half of which I was working in Rio de Janeiro and of course, travelling around Brazil.

When I was back, I decided to settle down and set up my own business related to education, until the Work and Holiday Visa for Australia appeared for the Spaniards, a country I had always been in love with. I couldn’t get it out of my mind until I took the decision to leave everything. The last 6 months in Australia I had the craziest experience of my life, I lived in the middle of the desert with the nearest city at 135km away and without much communication. It was a tough experience, but I loved it and allowed me to travel over the next 9 months through Australia, New Zealand, Southeast Asia and Japan.

to travel is to liveI have a Bachellor’s Degree in Economics and a Master’s Degree in Education. I am a very sociable, easy going and openminded person, I love travelling, learning about other cultures, having fun, laughing at stupid things, painting, reading, enjoying live music, partaking in outdoor sports and of course, swimming in my Mediterranean Sea.

This world is big and beautiful and my dream is to see it and learn new things every day.

Here you can see a little bit about my trips, although Spain doesn’t appear, I can’t deny that this is one of the most beautiful countries I’ve ever been, and despite having travelled a lot around here, I still have incredible spots to visit.
